Historic Lewes Farmers Market

Fun Fact: We have lived in Lewes, Delaware for almost 3 years and have NEVER been to the local farmers market, until today.

For some people they might be thinking "So what?!", but if you know us, you know we buy a TON of produce and should have been going a long time ago.

Let me tell you a little bit about the Historic Lewes Farmers Market. This is a producer-only market where consumers may purchase the freshest local foods available straight from the farmer themselves. I loved that feature because it was so nice to ask questions directly to the person whose product it was and get actual answers. Also, like a said earlier, we eat A LOT of fresh fruits and vegetables so making farmer friends was a PLUS!

We picked up a good amount of produce today so we thought it would be best to do a round up post so you can see all of our findings and if you're in the area hit up these local farmers.
